A message from John Clapham, Headteacher

Dear Parents and Friends,

Thank you for visiting our website today. We are very proud of our church school, where everyone works together to make a real difference to children and families in our school community. As head teacher, I feel our school is very special and it is a delight to see children grow and develop as individuals in a caring and challenging learning environment. We have lots of fun at St Andrew’s, but also recognise the important role we have in establishing attitudes and skills that will take our children into their future life. We hope this website gives you some understanding of the values and aims of our school and will provide you with some information about the 'essence' of St Andrew’s.

Our school has a team of very committed teachers, support staff and governors who are keen to work in partnership with parents to provide our children with a high standard of education within a safe and supportive environment.  Our hard work was rewarded during our SIAS inspection in May 2016, when we were judged ‘Outstanding’ in every category.

To share the ethos and sense of community which exists in our school you really need to visit St Andrew’s, and for those of you who don't know us please be assured that a warm welcome awaits you. We are proud of our school and both children and staff enjoy sharing St Andrew’s with visitors and friends.

Yours sincerely,

John Clapham
Headteacher
