At the start of the year, two children (a boy and a girl) are elected to be members of the school council from each class. Reception class are elected in the summer term. These children help organise charity and fundraising events such as Children in Need, Red Nose Day or St Andrew’s Day. We give our ideas across which have included a cake sale, a non – uniform day and a special meal. Not only this, but School council often run these events and stalls at fairs. They have also worked on deciding what films to watch at movie nights and regularly think about how to make our school an even better place. Our most recent successes have been fund raising for our new playground equipment.

Thank you for your terrific support of our Teddy Tombola stall on Sports Day. We raised an amazing £67 which will go towards purchasing a new friendship bench for our playground. We have some teddies left and are therefore planning to run another stall at Christmas.
