Parents, Teachers and Friends Association
St. Andrew’s PTFA is a small voluntary organisation of parents and teachers who devote time and energy into raising funds for the benefit of our school community.
We raise funds by organising events throughout the year, such as the Summer Fete, Christmas Fair, Fun Run and Plant Sale.
Meetings are held once or twice a term and are very informal. We discuss future events, brainstorm ideas for fundraising and how funding should be spent to benefit all the pupils in the school.
Please come along and support us at our meetings - new people are always very welcome and it’s an easy way to meet people in and around school.
Recently our funds have been used for:
- Subsidising travel costs for trips and visits
- A set of net books
- A set of iPads
- A set of cameras
- Playground furniture
- Theatre performances
- Visitors to school, such as the performance poet Andy Toose
- Y6 Souvenir ’end of year’ books
- A playground climbing wall
- Willow structure
