Residential Updates

White Hall 23

9th November

Following the ‘Secret Agents’ game in the dark last night, our children settled down for bed quickly and have all had a good nights sleep. Breakfast this morning was a happy calm affair and the children seem to have now settled well into life at Whitehall. One of our groups had their adventure day yesterday, and the other two groups will be out all day today. The adventure day includes the abseil and is something the children really look forward to.  Thank you for your continued support.

8th November

Children are all happy and settled and doing well at Whitehall. We are expecting today to be a good day as everyone had a great night’s sleep last night, which was great. Yesterday, activities included mountain biking, ropes course, leap of faith, zip wire, rock scrambling, and caving. Our children will continue rotating around these activities today. The children are having a great time and have now all settled in really well. Thank you for your continued support.

6th November

Thank you for entrusting your child to us on our residential this week. We had a great journey up here and arrived in plenty of time to have lunch and settle into our dorms before our afternoon activities. Our children are in 3 groups of 10 or 11.
This afternoon, each group has either experienced the ropes course  and zip wire, climbing wall or has been off in a minibus for a rather soggy stream scrambling.  All groups are timetabled to complete the same activities over the course of the week. This evening, we have all been den building in the woods. We have been really proud of our children. We will, of course, let you know individually if there are any issues. Now for some sleep (hopefully)!
